Timothy, I found this piece of yours in the Design Book Seven. I’m an amateur woodworker. I’m working on a design that was inspired by the Christ of Light Cathedral in Oakland – https://www.som.com/projects/cathedral_of_christ_the_light__structural_engineering My question is – is the top section of your fluted cabinet have tambour doors? And if so, do you think this could work with a 7 degree pitch (see link to the cathedral)?
Thank you for contacting, Morgan. The door on the upper cabinet is a solid wood, coopered door. A tambour could work there, but would interfere with the clean l.ines of the cabinet since it would need trim pieces at rhe edges.
